Adam was having nightmares that he would behave horribly and start screaming while our team was at the free throw line. I am happy to report that he was SOOOO good. We honestly don't know how we got him to behave so well since we can't keep him on our lap at our home for more than 5 minutes without him crying, and he sat for an hour and a half without a peep!!! I think he enjoyed the noise and lights. He'll get to go to one more game this season, so we hope he behaves just as well!
VA BEACH:
We travelled to Va Beach for Zach's first roadtrip last weekend. He was great for the car ride and slept the entire time. I couldn't have been happier....that is until we had to head to synagouge at 9pm that evening. He SCREAMED everytime we came to a stoplight (I think there were 12 of them on the way). He was so worked up that even I started crying in the car. Adam attempted to comfort me while both the baby and I were sobbing.
My mom was fantastic as always and agreed to prepare a meal for Zach's local Great-Grandparents. It was great for Zach to meet his great grandma and great pop-pop before the big "open house" party and get a little quite time with them.
Other than for feeding, I don't think I had to hold Zach for one minute the whole weekend. His Pop-Pop and Be Be held him and cuddled while Adam and I took a nice little break.
The "Open House" party was nice, but overwhelming for Zach who was passed around and around the room. He got quite cranky, but because he didn't sleep much during the party, he slept the ENTIRE ride home to Waynesboro. Such a blessing!

It's cool that the basketball game went so well!!! Hannah loved places with big crowds when she was a little baby. Maybe they are mesmerized by the people, the sounds. Or maybe Zach is just a basketball fan already :)
Your family trip sounds like a lot of fun. You really had me laughing about crying at stoplights!!! I remember those days!!! Will have to share this tidbit with Brian :)
