Babies= too much stuff!
Everyone who knows Adam, knows that he is not the most timely young chap. He is constantly running late for everything that doesn't fall under the label of UVA sports. I, on the other hand, am normally on time or early (I'm particularly OCD about this). It doesn't always make for a happy combination.
Adam, however, is much more organized than I am. I would totally forget my head if it weren't attached to my body. Adam is wonderful and remembers everything. He'll even make sure he brings motion sickness meds for me when he thinks we are going to hit traffic! But....When he is flustered by me yelling at him because we are late, things are bound to get forgotten.
So, Sunday...We had plans to meet our friends the Entin's at 11am for brunch. I had to feed the baby right before we left so I didn't have the diaper bag packed. I rushed to put everything in, with my hubby trying to help get the baby situated, and we left for Charlottesville...WITHOUT A STROLLER OR BABY CARRIER!
We had to hold him all afternoon as we carted him around Charlottesville. The funniest thing was that Adam found a shopping cart at Sears and proceeded to push Zach around the mall in his car seat and large shopping cart (while all the responsible parents carted their babies in Graco's and Bugaboos and McClaren's). Wonder what we'll forget next time!

Oh, girl. Just don't forget diapers and you'll be ok ;) I did that once. Was stuck in a Barnes & Noble with a fussing baby, a VERY poopy diaper. What a mess.
So far, haven't forgotten the diapers! I'm sure it will happen one day =)
