Adam and I made a pact to go out once a week for some "couples" time. Because we live so far away from our families, this necessitated finding some babysitters who we could count on to watch Zach when we go out. We have two great ones so far!
Adam's hairdresser, Mollie, has watched Zach for us twice. The two are bartering services...he gives her credit towards dentistry, she in turn, watches our baby. She is great with babies and just loves Zach. She took the picture attached to this blog while we were out at a UVA basketball game.
We also found Dawn. Dawn works for the local pediatric dentist and babysits for other dentists children. She is great with Zach and will be our "go-to" sitter on a regular basis. We have arranged for her to come every Thursday evening so Adam and I can have a "date night."
My Co-Worker, Lynn, has also offered to watch Zach whenever we need to have a night alone together.
We are so lucky to have found them!

Good for you!!! Alone time is important... and it sounds like you have some great babysitters. Hope you are having some wild Thursday nights. :)
